so i was a part of this video game forum and one of the threads was about news sources spelling bin ladens name wrong. shouldnt end up being too offensive right? well wrong. bout oh a page into it some dick decided it would be funny to post a picture of obama cropped to make him look like osama bin laden. so in the nicest way possible i mentioned that i found it to be completely disgusting since i had a close family member who died in the terror attacks and i also nicely told the guy he was a fucking disgrace. the next 8 or nine posts after that were all about how all americans are narcissistic, xenophobic, and ignorant. im like wtf!!!?? so first i would like to know if all people from the UK are selfabsorbed cocksuckers or just this small group of em? cause every person i have met from the uk on here seems cool as fuck. i just dont get it.... also is this the sentiment towards americans in most other countries? cause if it is i can assure you all that we are all just people...just like you... at this point im more pissed then anything but im sure i will feel better when my fuckin dude gets off work(nothin makes me feel good like blueberry) so this is buggin the hell outta me people i want some ligatimate input from some sensibly stoned people.

I think you are reading too deep into an argument on a forum. If it hurt you so deeply that he posted that picture you probably shouldn't be on the internet

the picture itself was just extremely distasteful, a full group of people who claim to be educated who are basically saying all americans are pieces of shit is the thing that is actually bothering me. it takes way more than a picture to make me loose some sleep bro my best friend frequents fuckedupshit.com or something of that sort and even that shit wont make me lose a wink. what i am wondering about is the anti-american sentiment and even at that like i said im just like wtf?? mY personal belief has been that there are better things to hate on a person than their nationality...like ignorance

There is beauty everywhere and ugliness too. But beauty prevails. It has to it is what we came from. That said we all generalize at some point, small ways and or big.
I have lived in South America, stayed for many months in Germany since this atrocious war started. There is a vast sway of opinions out there but what I have discerned is that the view of the People of the USA and the government of the USA is particularly divided neatly or so it was during the fail years (Bush Admin). Now of course there is much rejoicing over obama's work and election. (I volunteered for his campaign ). The ignorance of people is intense lately I feel because of the frank xenophobic radio and tv hosts as well as certain churches. We have a muslim radio show here and it is very popular across the religious spectrum. Yet they are the subjects of death threats mutilation and the rest. When WW2 rolled in to town suddenly no one had German heritage before, or if japanese you were a Jap not an american, - people's fear is the refuge of their ignorance and when someone thinks and acts for them they go for it because all hate is easy intellectually bankrupt in action and source. to love to respect that takes knowledge it takes intellectual rigor when confronted with vast differences subtle and known, aparent and unknown makes no difference at all the truth is free but finding it takes work. We can find extremist in all religions and locals, we can find silence that encourages them or provide no energy towards thier message and send one of our own, constant, embedded in truth and originating from the heart and then the mind.
