look like alot of buds but not big as they should be..

my friend has 12 3ft tall sativa/indica 60/40 some sort of kush. but his buds dont look nowhere big as they should be for 5 weeks flowering. But it looks like its over a pound of immature bud over all his plants. I told him to remove the lower branches but he wouldnt so now he got buds on the bottom branches. but i know for a fact that he's got over a pound on his girls. He has 2000 watts on them. Do you think he's on track. maybe its the diffrent strain.

oh ok..i thought he was suppose to finish at 10 weeks. then he's doin good then...i was worried about the same problem a couple weeks ago.

You need to find out what strain it is. You can find flowering times on the net. He could only have a few weeks to go. If its a 10 week strain and they're not putting a ton of weight on in week 8-9 its not going to be pretty.
 
ok found out its dutch passion master kush....i thought it was ice kush. it has a 9 week flower time and he just touched week 6. i cant share my overdrive cause its too expensive.
 
man overdrive was 50 bucks. I might need it, i would give him my last but i have to think about me and my family..if im not high they'll be unhappy lol. I dont have the money to help. and I know he doesnt neither.
 
IMO your not as far into flower as you think. Maybe your counting one week ahead of where the plants really are, going on the assumption there 4 an a half weeks of a 8-9 week I don't see a issue. There is plenty of time even if in week 5-6 though. Week 6 and 7 are game changers. Weeks 8-9 are where ripeness comes in
 
Don't go by the hairs, go by the trichs. Some of my girls have red hairs at week 3, but continue to produce white until ripening.
