Greetings to you all. I have a personal one plant closet grow that has been flowering longer than I have ever grown before. She is 9 weeks since 12-12, and 7 since pistils. I have stopped all feeding besides mollasswater every two feedings. Flushed twice since two weeks. 9-23w. Cfls. Trichomes are all cloudy with one amber here and there. Buds are tight to the squeeze and smells great. But I have white hairs still. 60% white 40%Amber/brown. My question is could harvest time come even with the mix of pistil color? Or could it just be a long hauler. Also what strain would you say it is indica, sativa, hybrid etc. Thank you much.

I think its taking so long because the lighting is so weak. The strain could be anything.. it does look a lot like power kush, but it could be anything.

An before you say youve done this before with these lights faster, i dont care, the weak lighting is slowing you down. Maybe in the past the lights were close enough you just scraped by.

An 2-3 more weeks, ive had tons of plamts look exactly like that at week 5.

Thanks for the reply growingforfun. By slowing growth due to lighting will trichomes turn slower too or faster. Is this also why the pistils are still half and half? As long as she will be ok till harvest I don't mind waiting it out.

Steve elaborates on Apical dominance (this guy knows his shit)! I think the most important thing Steve says is to look at a cannabis plant as you would a tomato plant. All my grows I've experienced exactly what Steve is saying. Your looking at the plant and certain buds are done while others are not, and your like wtf do I do? Answer: You cut off what is ready to harvest, and then let the plant go longer to finish off the flowers that aren't fully matured.

Thanks NugHeuser. So that would definitely explain the long flowering period? I've heard of 75 to 78 days flowering but never seen nor experienced it before.
Yeah I simply think it's just a girl that's taking longer to flower. Some plants are like that. Besides there are many many things a grower can do to stress and slow down the flowering time on a plant, many variables but it is what it is, all we know is she isnt done so we take her longer. A little more light definitely wouldn't hurt but if I'm understanding right your running a total of a bit over 200w of cfl and working with a fairly small space, your bud size looks decent, I wouldn't worry too much about adding lighting at this point, but if you plan on growing more and wanting to stick with smaller areas, then you should look into leds, specifically quantum boards.
Not too pricey for a small light and you wouldn't be disappointed ;-)

Thank you very much I definitely will look into upgrading next grow.

Still looking good smoke! Looks like your stigmas/pistols are starting to darken and shrivel success is getting closer... Days can feel like weeks at this stage but resist the urge to chop early you will be rewarded with frosty heavier nugs.... Thanks for the update photos
