Long time listener, first time caller

Hey guys. I have been lurking the forums for quite a bit now, gathering information and knowledge. I have learned a lot from reading the forums here; thank you to all here. I have finally finished constructing my set-up.

Plant numbers and space were considered as I am doing this grow under the CA prop 215 guidlines (I am a patient). Goal is to harvest 5-6 plants per month in a perpetual grow.

First thing I paid attention to was cleanliness. I rolled out tons of visquene, and created a "clean room" which is sealed pretty well. Both tents are sealed into the room, facing eachother. I keep a clean set of clothes, sock booties, and latex gloves in the clean room which all go on before entering.

There are two tents: one 4x2 for clones and vegging and one 3x5 for flowering. The veg tent contains one hydrofarm 250watt MH all-in-one unit and a (not pictured) 2ft 2 bank flo for the clones. Both rooms are exhausted 5x/day with a 105 cfm fan for each room. Waiting on a CO2 tank (this week probably)... Flower room contains 400 watt HPS cool tube with 4 inch vortex (172 CFM) and 6 inch 203 cfm duct booster fan pulling cool air from outside tent and venting outside, keeping the temp about 75 degrees 4 inches from the tube!! I have the hood exhaust fans hooked to a temperature sensor which attempts to maintain 75 in the room. Ambient temps are around 63 or so (in a basement). All exhaust/intake to grow room is protected by HEPA filter of some sort or another. There is also a 150 watt HPS all in one unit in there too. Helps add extra light and boost room temps a bit... temps stay a pretty constant 75-77 when lights are on and 63-67 when lights are off. I have a heater that I am going to bring in if the temps drop any farther.

Growing using the Stinkbud aerosprayer system... no leaks or problems so far... took clones from a mum 12 days ago, started them under the 150 HPS, saw roots in about 7 days or so. Now the roots are going like a madman. I topped the plants just above the second node a few days ago... I hope it wasn't too early (it seems ok according to the Uncle Ben thread... they had 3-4 nodes each).

Using the complete Fox Farm line... just going to follow the instructions, not going to try to mess mixing different brands of nutes as I see many doing here... not on my first go at least.

Strain right now is Blueberry Hog. Looking to get one or two more strains on the next batch of clones, which should go in soon. There are more of the stinkbud Aero units built, but they are in the garage being sterilized before entering "the lab".

Thanks for looking, any comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated. I will try and answer any questions you may have.

Oh yea.... one hose is hooked to drain while the other is going through a .5 micron sediment filter. Brings my PPM from about 375 to 200 or so. Not too bad, but was expecting a bit more.... from some reading however, it seems that a lot of the dissolvents in the tap are ok and the filter is removing chlorine so....

Added CO2 halo to each room, removed fresh air intake. Vents 5X a day right before CO2 cycle, added space heater hung from ceiling to keep temps 78 at day, 68 at night.

Plants are growing quite well. The newly formed branches are showing 3-6 nodes each. Some things I have learned thus far that I have altered from the stink bud formula:

a)I pump out the water with a drill pump.... A method I like a little better as I don't have to drench the roots as the pump is on pumping out water.

b)After noticing some nute buildup in-between pump cycles, I added a small pump hooked to nothing in each tank, always on, to keep the water circulating/nutes mixed up well... this also helps stabilize PH and PPM numbers quickly.

c) after using PH drops for a few weeks I upgraded to a hanna digi meter and found my numbers to be off by close to almost 1 (PH of 6.5). Also, I have quickly learned to care for my meters as I do my plants (keeping them clean, storing them in the proper solutions, and checking calibration)

I moved out the 250w MH in favor of a 2' 4 bulb sunblaze t5. Split up the plants... half vegging under T5 half under HPS... HPS ones showed much more growth everywhere after about 1 week, although the t5 ones look robust and healthy as well. The t5 ones show much more green in the foliage (which makes sense... the bluer spectrum encourages chlorophyll development I have been led to believe) although leaves on all the plants feel and look healthy (except for the one fan leaf that got a couple drops of dilluted Ph down on it.. that took about 4 days to heal... oops).

There is only one plant that is not doing so well. Everything looks healthy, it is just about half the size of the others and is growing sloooow. The root base is only about half the mass of the others... I am thinking about just pulling her in the next day or so unless she decides she wants to start growing.... maybe I'll leave a set of scissors next to her to strike the fear of god into the ol girl
