you can always lolli a little, i do for every flower. i got some realy spindly thin branches on my chem dawgs i had to lolli them a bunch just to get decent fat buds up top.

it can also depend on strain some do beter with and others with out..

trimming all the small realy thiv stems leaves and everythang. cutting off everything that wont produce good buds so the plant can put more energy into the top colas

mine are not done very well, these are kinda step children of the grow... but you can kinda see what im yakin about :)

just means trimming bottom of the plant to make it look like a lollipop lol sapose to consecrate all the goodness to the top of the plant instead of on them pathetic little buds on the bottom still trying to get more info on it really see if lollipoping makes a difference on yield.

hmm i always think of lollipops as those tiny little sea of green style single cola plants with all the side branches removed

i always remove all the weaker growth from my plants thin them out from the bottom and the middle they normally get 4-5ft tall bush shape plants
it improves the quality of the bud that is produced
the colas do get larger than they would do if the weaker shit is left on the plant
concentrating bud growth on the best branches closest to the lights, that's just common sense ?

I have done just about everything to my plants. Topping, bending, supper cropping, lolli popping, whatever. Always seem to get about the same weight. I think what happens is you just end up with more quality buds than little nugs, and bottom feeders. Really about the same weight though. If that made any sense.
