Ya looks ok you got alot of small growth which will give you larfy buds with a canopy that dense.
Youre on the right track and you'll learn after a few goes around

I was thinking the same, I was worried about defpliating too heavily. How long should I let them recover before I go in again?

It's a GDP photo from ILGM. Seems very stable and resilient. I flipped 12 days ago. Looks like the stretch is just about over. At any rate, I'm okay if they don't get larger, they've filled the tent nicely at their current height.

This is my first go on this strain.

If it were me id cut out some more of the smaller branches on the bottom and mush her down a bit widen it and spread out the branches so the canopy is getting even light penetration (not shading the underneaths)
But thats just me. Take what i say with a grain of salt and make a decision thats best for you not me. We may have different ideas on what works best for our own needs. Id take less yeild if every bud was a+ but you may not care as much about that i dunno

I begin to lollipop once the plant has a stable root system.

I do basically what you did there and then give it a week and bring it up to right below the canopy.

This is my outdoor practice. But it has worked well for my 1st indoor grow as well.

This plant was quite bushy. Unfortunately turned out to be male. All 3...... I still blame @Wattzzup

Then I waited a week and flipped. I like to get the bulk of it done in veg so it has ample time to recover for flower. At day 21 after it begins il clean up a bit more but it's way less stressful imo this way.

So I'd suggest give it a week let it recoupe and then do it again.

Just lollipopped and I need opinions. This is only my second time doing this to a plant...View attachment 4809857View attachment 4809858
You would be surprised what these little plants can take. I would take some of those smaller branches and also think about what you are going to do when they stretch as a couple branches will likely shoot up much higher than the others. Perhaps start thinking supercrop. I did this to all 4 of mine and flipped 4 days later, they didn't skip a beat.

I did a run through before I flipped as well. Here is the result and what it looked like just 3 days later20210116_063228.jpg20210119_095947.jpg
