MY GOOD FRIEND THAT KIND OF STARTED ME OUT , came over and lollie popped my plants he said that it is the only way to get hard buds.
the guy at my local hydro store said that that started in CALI. to keep the crop under the nets, and in my room i should just let them be do not remove anything except a few clones let all the leafs fall off on their own
PLEASE HELP ME DECIDE WHICH ONE IS RIGHT

trust the guy in the hydro store. lolipopping is a technique only for certain kinds of grow, like flowering from 10'' and under. You shouldn't have let your friend touch your plants.

It is a technique that can be good for certain strains that develop sparse buds on the lower half that may not be as desirable to some people. It does not make your buds 'hard,' but the idea behind it is that by not using energy/nutrients to flower the bottom of the plant, it will allow the plant to devote more for the upper half where the larger colas reside. It can also help with air flow and keeping humidity/powdery mildew in check by removing the plant material. Personally, I don't lilipop simply because I have enough root mass and light/nutrients to support the entire plant - and fluffy stuff is great for rolling and sampling.

Sometimes I will have to harvest in two batches, depending on the height of the plant where the lower branches are not typically as far along.

The best advice I ever received... don't overdo it. I rather have a light yield any day of the week than totally mess it up by overdoing things. Good luck and share some pics if you can! Always enjoy some eye candy. ;)
