Locking grow cabinet, one plant at a time.

I started this hobby in little cabinet, around 1.5 x 1.5 x 5 feet. ( around 4 feet of usable space, the filter takes away some head room.)

I know a lot of you have big grow tents, but I'm pretty happy growing one plant at a time and have been averaging around 2.5 ounces at harvest.

Some day I may have a nice grow room and some powerful lights, but for now this will have to do. I just thought I'd share. This grow is my 4th and I am reducing the number of colas from 25 or so to 8 this time around. I bet I get more bud with less colas... We'll see. (Now how the hell can 8 colas produce more bud than 25?---I know what your thinking... Well I'm betting that 8 colas done right will produce much more weed than 25 colas done poorly, Plant is mainlined, 4 tops on each side.

Yes I know the foil is a no-no. I've been meaning to paint the inside white and will get around to it eventually.

Spider Farmer SF- 1000 with dimmer ( perfect for this space)
AC Afinity fan (in the left cabinet)
Cheap Home Depot Carbon Filter, does the job.
Air Pot- 7 gallons. ( was using cloth am trying this now)
Nirvana Northern Lights Fem Photoperiod-- My third grow, I love this stuff.

Previous Grow, Durban Poison-- too many colas.

Smoking this now: Northern Lights cured for 1 year and grown in my little cabinet.. This has to be the least harsh weed Ive ever smoked and it knocks you on your ass.

I'd probably try and make my own air pot or fabric pot to maximise the footprint of the cab while reducing the height of the pot without reducing medium volume.

Looks good BTW, takes a lot more effort to grow in confined spaces.

What soil?
Fox Farm Happy Frog, Perlite, Worm Castings, 1/2 TBS Dolomite lime, Mycos, Great White.

I'm using Dynagrow Foliage Pro and Protekt for nutrients, used very lightly. I'm in week 6 of Veg now and have fed 1/4 dose only twice this grow ! I'm nervous with nutrients after burning my plants too many times and will see how far good soil will take them with nutients used as needed only.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I'm learning a lot about training plants down in a small space. The bonus is that growing flat and even produces a lot of high quality bud! This grow has a total of four tops per side. I'm trying to post pics but there seems to be some type of a formatting issue.

I used cloth pots the past two grows and loved them but one of them got moldy on the sides. We'll see how the air pot works---

Yep, the Air Pot almost fits my entire space. Its a little taller than I like, maybe I can cut a few inches off the top for next grow.

I like it. To get a lower pot as Corey suggested, one could simlply cut off part of a large airpot or cut one in half and buy an extra bottm to make two.
I may go smaller, maybe 3 or 5 gallons air pot next grow or cut my big 7 gallon container down a bit.

All of my past grows got pretty rough around week 5-6 flower. I'm betting that I over vegged the plant and topped too many times for my small container. In other words, 25 tops in a 3 gallon pot might be asking too much of the soil So, I'm going with 8 tops and double the soil this grow to see if I can get through flower healthy.

Notice the magnetic hooks on the side of my metal cabinet. I use these as plant Yo Yo's and will be pulling all the tops down even with plant ties.. (Or I might try a metal ring, not sure this grow. This is my first atempt mainlining.)
