I have a nute lockout problem my ph has been way to low around a 5.5, I bought some hydrated lime cuz i heard that it will stabilize ph at 7, it looks to me it has a mg and ca def. Can someone tell me how to stabilize my soil? I need to know what to ph my water at and how much lime to use and do i mix it with a gallon of water or sprinkle in soil? also do i need to flush? I also have calmag do i need to give it sum?

that might be a good start 6.8-7, give her a good long drink to flush a bit
but how does your plant look?

She doesn't look good at at the leaves are yellowing with rust orange brown spots and some of the lower leaves have completely browned and dried. moving up to the top of the plant. some middle to top leaves are slowly browning on tips and edges.

Hydrated lime is not what you want. It is very alkaline around 12 ph. You want dolomite lime or garden lime. It has a ph around 8.4

Hydrated lime will work but you have to use far less of it than dolomite lime. Hydrated lime also leaches out of the soil faster, so you would need to more often as well.

I made the mistake of buying it and using it, and it stunted the growth of my plants because the ph was so damned high. Dont be like me.

Get rid of it and just buy some dolomite or garden lime and use 1 tsp per gallon if your medium already has lime in it. Lime isn't very water soluble, so I would personally mix up a new batch of soil with the correct type of lime in it and transplant your plant(s). You should see a noticeable improvement within 2-3 days if its not too late.
