Lobster weed

in my city we have this herb called, lobster. i've been smoking exotic herb(thai,haze,kush, etc.) since the mid 90's, then in 02' this shit started to pop up. nobody really knows what lobster is, officially, but, i'll give you the characteristics of the standard. indica dominant, skunkish look, light or dark green(no hues or special color). the term is know loosely used around the city for any type of mid grade herb that doesn't have and extraordinary look. Lobster has completely push out regular herb, you just can't buy weed in my city, you have to buy lobster or something exotic. i'll also state for the record that the LOB i get rivals some of the haze(purp) i've smoked, then on the other hand some people get LOB that isn't as appealing as other LOB throughout the city. also, this type of herb has migrated to a lot of areas throughout the state and to one of my border states for sure. so, i said all that to say this, is there a strain called Lobster and if so, could you give some information on it's background i.e., origin, genetics, breeders. a little help would be much appreciated. thx:peace::eyesmoke:

Never heard of it, it's probably a regular seed bank strain that someone grew and wants to make his own name for it so no one knows how to get it. There's this dumb shit in my city called fucking "Willy Wonka." I never bought it since it sounds fucking stupid.

is it like california orange? with orange pistils? redish to purple in color? so someone probably got baked off of some cali o or straberry cough or something like that, found some seeds and grew the shit and put a stupid name on it and wa lah, generic strain created.

yeah, i knew that shit was bogus. urban dictionary, nah, i don't need one of those. christmas bud being the best weed in the country, never smoked it but, i would definitely have to question that. mshkar2, you sound like them people and if you must know, let's just say i'm getting it.:weed:

ya know the funny thing is i started this thread because, i smoked my last blunt of kush before i went and played basketball yesterday and bought some lob on the way home and decided to see what was up with it. so, i roll up, start typing, pass out , and what the fuck i got a two pager. fucking lobster. i don't know about the west coast just yet but, this lobster shit closely resembles herb that is commonly referred to as Arizona throughout the east coast. it started in 02' at $1200-1600 a lb now it has blossomed into $1800-2400 a lb, nothing special just your average mid grade. but, this shit is extra creepy, extra, extra creepy.:eyesmoke::eyesmoke::eyesmoke:

okay, i'm still a little hungover and missed the link the first ten times i read your post. funny shit, see that's not my state and what the fuck, Lobster. the shit is crazy because, there are literally tens of thousands of people who believe there is lobster weed(in the east):eyesmoke::eyesmoke::eyesmoke:.

I'm more than a decade late on this post . I honestly am smoking a joint and thought about a strain I had as a teenager called lobster. I cant remember the exact year but I was fairly new to smoking. Maybe 2002 or 03. I visited some family in Richmond Va, my cuz and I met 2 girls that showed us around and raved about "lobster" weed. We got some , it was pretty good mids. Def came with a few seeds. Reminds me of what we used to call "Arizona skunk" where I'm from back in the day. I have no idea if this is a real strain I was curious and hit google and ended up here lol
