Lobster compost

Nice! COM putting out some new products. I have an older bag of that I've been using to help my soil in my veg cab. It doesnt have EWC in it tho.lobster and kelp only. I had a few mothers in 3/4 gallon mud buckets that needed a little boost. I added 2 tablespoons of my compost + 1 tbsp of the lob/kelp meal and they responded very well.

Dropped the kids off for their first day of school. I know it's probably good for them to go back but that shit hurt seeing them go.
I said f work, rain from Ida is swamping my area. Afraid to look at my outdoor. Stayed home and mixed up a batch of soil in the barn. Same mix but instead of four cups of grd , I did two plus one cup of oyster flour. Trying to maybe minimize metals in my soil. Especially since i dump all my run soil into my compost pile.20210902_130742.jpg
Trying out some new barley from BAS in the mix. I heard it can sprout hemp seeds so I buzzed it in the blender. I'm going to topdress some plants with it in veg as well.

Just finished up probably one of my top 3 worst indoors to date. That 2020 chuck with the bodhi black raz dad blew up in my cab and got way too close to my Timber cob. Long story short, I've got a Timber Cypress 4 ordered up and will be mounting that asap. Running bars in my space makes perfect sense. Looking forward to not having to bend plants sideways or turning down the light.
The flowering cab is all Useful stuff this round. Two different phenos of blueberries and chocolate and two phenos of bag of oranges. The original mothers were moved outside, new moms in the veg area, cuts being pollinated by either a bodhi dragonfruit or swamp boys BRZKR in the separate outdoor garden. I put the BRZKR out last minute. The dragonfruit started dropping pollen early. It will be a mixed up seed mess, but good lineage. The BRZKR is LVTK crossed with a lime kush and the stem rub actually has a lime nose to it. That'd be an interesting terp. I'm looking for terps that might make unique flavored temple balls.

Really trying to limp this outdoor along. Checking and cutting rot daily on the heaviest plants. We've had 2-3" of rain every week since September started I'd guess. Shaping up to be a rough hurricane season. Of course I decided to get a little more serious this year with my outdoor. Last two summers I've chucked pollen only and the weather was stellar lol. I cut some tops earlier this week ( Bodhi's Cocoon) Not sure how potent it will be, I'm running an ounce of it in the hash washer as soon as it gets a little colder. Wish it coulda gone a few more weeks. I've sampled a little and it tastes great. Still a tad green tasting

This Useful Bag of Oranges has looked overwatered all grow but damn if it isnt trying. Prettiest plant in the garden. And it grew a huge stalk in only 2 months of being outside. I wonder if it has to do with taking in too much water? I hope it makes it...

All plants in the chucking garden are showing very developed, brown seeds.
I was surprised to see how far along the useful plants had come. The majority of those seeds will probably have the Swampboys BRZKR as the daddy but I'll never know til i grow them out:-P the dragonfruit male had dropped a lot of pollen by the time i got the ( very small useful clones out) the BRZKR started dropping pollen much later.

Dragonfruit pollinated mostly by the Dragonfruit dad. These seeds are the most mature, falling outta the bracts. Chopped and hanging as of last night

I need a couple more weeks ( minimum really, but it's outdoor. Take what we can get at this point) up in the flowering garden but the weather doesnt look great next week. 50's and lowlight/overcast:finger: just looking to fill my hash/edible jars...

Silly me, I was hoping this year's outdoor would be low stress.... These Usefuls Bag of Oranges are looking reallly nice. Weather this week looks sketchy, couple more weeks would be nice...

No half stepping now. I really dont want to chop yet. I think a week or more would put some weight on. I hate chopping outdoor too early . Spent a little time yesterday doing what little more I can do..hopefully the roof/cover holds up and keeps some of that coastal moisture off.

All pollinated plants are down and hanging in the barn. It looks like a nice week coming up to dry them there, as well as finishing up the flowering garden. I'm happy with how the mother plants look and smell. The Useful blueberry and chocolate has the Bodhi Blueberry hashplant coming through nose wise. Wont know about taste till harvested and dried. The Useful bag of oranges are the showstoppers of the garden. Should make nice crosses. Strong orange peel smell to both phenos. Excited to make some hash with both strains.

Outdoor turned out nice so I decided to buy myself a little desktop press. :weed: Usefuls blueberries and chocolateis is so tasty pressed. Tastes just like it smells, like blueberries . Only problem is collecting the rosin off the parchment, it's so sticky i have to freeze it first.

Bodhis cocoon is a nice yielder when pressed. Not as flavorful as the blueberry and chocolate but way easier to collect
