Antarctica is getting colder. China just had their coldest winter in years. The southern hemisphere of the earth has been cooling off a lot lately..
As far as the glaciers.. ugh.. I'm so sick of hearing about that.. every year NORMALLY at the north pole, ice the size of the UNITED STATES melts and freezes. Every fucking year. They take a picture of a glacier melting the size of Texas, and everyone's like ooooohhh nooo. Because they are unaware of this information..they think 'hey, Texas is pretty fucking big'. Then they think the sky must be falling. LOL.. Ice melts and freezes every year, always has..
From our geological records of the past- temperature always goes up before co2 rises.. this time has been no different.. But why does no one ask 'what's the big deal if it gets a couple degrees hotter?' The plants will be able to thrive at higher temperatures with added co2 (as growers we know this too). With that there would be more oxygen, which then we could perform better in hotter temperatures- what do they give the tired hot football player on the sidelines sometimes? Oxygen..
I don't know about you people, but I want more oxygen. We have much less of it in our air than we have in the past.. but what's most alarming is the side effect on the brain from less oxygen -sleep apnea, poor concentration, forgetfulness, mood swings, restlessness, depressive thoughts and low drive. Funny, might just be me.. but I would swear there seems to be more of that now than in the past..
