Prince is just off the charts in that song. I was also lucky to see him live in the 90's. Damn Covid has stopped live concerts.

His lyrics and pop thing annoyed me. But his talent prevailed very quickly.

Prince was the Michael Jordan of musicians. He could play multiple instruments like the best. He seemed to focus much on new artists and is responsible for many of the one hit wonders that came out of the 80's.
He did some epic live guitar solos.
