Live bubble hash rosin.

I am going to try live resin when I harvest next.
Just pressed some Citrl Flo l.a.r.f.
I am now a fan of 2x bottletech style of no more than 3 or 4 gs per puck.
No blowouts, great return.
And pretty damn tasty.
Due to the larfy bud and trim, higher than normal temps..220f.
I like the middle ground temps of 200 or 198f ...but I heard higher temps equates to higher yield, just slightly less quality.
I'm personal, so all good.

Damn, I didn't know you could press larf, but sure, WTF, why not?! I have been saving mine to make bubble hash to press, but I'll have to experiment a little. What micron bag are you using? Nice return!!

If trichomes were properly collected without any plant material in a 73 micron dry ice sift screen, how would you compare that result to what you get after you press the bubble? Your final result looks very tasty, but it's a lot of work, too much for me. Basically I'm wondering is the final result you get more pure than just trichomes only. I'm wondering is there a part of the trichome like some kind of thin shell that gets left behind?

Unfortunately dry ice tends to do far too much damage to trichomes. And using live material only complicates things. The closest that would be worth it would be to press extremely high quality dry sift. But it wouldnt be live. Or as good.

I’m about to harvest and I’m going to turn everything into bubble, main reason the girls turned Hermy. Will be my first attempt at Live bubble I used to always dry my trim before making hash I never even thought about putting it directly in the freezer . It’s genius, I just have a question how hard will it be to get all the water out of the hash if I’m not pressing it? I was thinking I could spread it thin on a screen or parchment. Or should I use the fridge or freezer. I don’t have freeze dryer . Or does the same rule apply I want to slow dry for at least 7-10 days , then make them into temple balls and jar cure. Any advice or experience is appreciated thanks

I got some cheap bubblebag dude bags, a press off a dude on Reddit. Turned out pretty good! I got a freeze dryer for my next run though. Can’t wait to see the final product. Few more months. Pictured are KMintz (kush mints x zkittlez) and Purple Punch. Both turned out fire. I kept the 90u as full melt and pressed everything else.

You can pull it directly from the bags and force it through a sieve, then go directly to drying. But your environment needs to be cold or the hash will be too sticky to make it through the sieve. I did that on one of my runs and it would’ve worked if it weren’t 115 degrees that day.

ok so the biggest hurdle is keeping it cold so it don’t stick to everything it touched

So I have a plant I’m planning on doing a bud run on. My question is, should I deleaf on the plant, shuck into airtight bags and throw on dry ice before freezer, or would they be fine and freeze fast enough going straight into the freezer. Also, if you have a freeze dryer, would you just toss in straight into that or do you dry it after you press? Thanks guys :weed:bongsmilie

That return in wet or dry weight? Meaning, did you live freeze or dry first?
