I had some cycles with these "Style" having a bluish color. It looked amazing under the microscope.... blue microseeds everywhere after using the grinder :) On closer look you can determinein with bare eyes. Mind boggling.... what the hell is this!? :)

I remember that i had these when i switched off the light completely few days (3 days only darkness) before harvest and having it everytime i tried it. The intention was to get higher terpenes and more chlorophyll degradation then harvesting in almost darkness, what also worked... but since i experienced these bluish microseeds, I dont do it anymore. I think this kind of photostress going to turn hermaphrodites quickly. But the THC was fine, nevermind that.

So if you want those spacey weeds with bluish microseeds "Style's", give it a try. Friend of mine we're not so amused, they asked me what kind of plastic micropearls I've added o_O.... and i needed to explain. Awkward.

Edit: Still i give them 24h darkness before harvest to consume up any left sugars in the buds with respiration in darkness.

Man, I have been wondering what these things were for the past 3 years. Finally found in on the World Wide InterWeb a while back.

I've had them every grow. It's the Style. They are the base for the Ovule from which the Stigmas are attached to (your female sex indicator). View attachment 4998475
Thank you for this! Saw some ovules floating in my olive oil and thought it was full of bud eggs! I have some outdoor that foxtailed like crazy, making the calyxes kinda swollen but the bud is not that great for smoking so I’m gonna make hash and edibles.

Yo! I see people pointing to genetics as the potential cause of the oversized ovules, or styles or whatever it is exactly. I imagine that is at least part of the cause, and maybe all of it. But I wonder if there are other factors. Is this primarily or almost exclusively occurring in organic soils? Fulvic and humic acids and silica would be potential factors maybe?
