Little green squares

Across from your signature under the # of post you have there are little green boxes or squares some ppl have 6-10 and most have 1. How are these accumulate?

im pretty sure they have to do with rep points

ur supposed to earn ur rep points by giving good advice and helping others, or by doing a good job on ur own grow.
u dnt ask for them.
obviously if someone has loads of rep point then i would trust their word more than someone with hardly no rep points.
