probably spiter mites...get some neem oil and spray on your plants on the top of leaves and bottoms too. It will kill the spider mites and there larvae on contact.

yo those are the little white bugs that will come up when you water. I forget the name for them at the moment. I cant remember if they are harmless or if they eat your roots.

Reviving this old thread. I'm have these same bugs I believe. I do not think they are spider mites because I've had them before and I treat my plants weekly sometimes bi-weekly with azamax for prevention. Also they crawl around on the soil right by the plant and do not go on it and mites do not live in soil they are usually under the leaves and making dead spots on the leaves. Anyway the azamax doesn't really seem to be effective on them.

I believe they are Springtails or whatever can anyone confirm this? If so I've read these are not harmful and in fact can be beneficial.

Thanks in advance.

I have googled root aphids before IDK if that is what they are or not. Also I have not seen them jump. They move pretty quick around in the soil though. Kind of brownish/white kind of look green under the HPS. Can see little antennas.
