little buds at bottom

Hi all, first time growing done everything by the book, have really big buds on top and very small on bottom ( due to lack of light I'm guessing).
if i chop all the top buds will this let light down to the bottom ones and develop them more or just stress the plant out.
Ive also heard adding honey will help my buds.
any help on this would be really appreciated

yeah you will be fine with doing that. people do it all the time.

Why chop your nice main tops, to lets your weak little ones get bigger? Chop the small ones at the bottom, and the let the plant focus on the main top colas., Unless height is an issue with you, then I would not chop the top section.

no you want to chop your big ones off when they are done and letthe lower ones go another 2 to 3 weeks. they won't get much bigger but they will get harder..

small bottom buds are called popcorn nugs

its a common process to harvest the top more mature buds first and allow the lower popcorn nugs time to develop more

My bad, I was assuming he was just switching over to flowering. But yeah if the top ones are done then yes by all means chop the top first. Progressive harvesting.

and as i forgot to mention is that if the light were to penatrate threw the canopy more then your lower buds would be bigger and denser..

sorry should have said plant is ready to harvest and probablly should have choped the bottom ones earlyer in the game and was just wondering should i harvest the lot or do it in two stages and let the bottom ones come on

Stages, Chop your top ones, and possibly lower your light. Good luck, post some pics if yeah got em' =)

Dude dont chop top off.. the top buds have more thc and taste better than bottom .... i wouldnt worry about bottom .. top very importtant fuck all bottom .... good luck
