little bit of burnage goin on!!

ok my babies are now a week and a half into flowering. and the tips of some of the leaves are turning yellow and then getting crispy and falling off. on one of the plants (the last pic) the leaves are burning from the sides in almost like it is being pinched. i know its some kind of deficiency, but i know know what from. am i not using any nutes. dont have a grow shop around here. and home depot and walmart have shit nute wise. also where can i find a ph meter.? home depot?

also was wondering what ppls thoughts were on cutting the fan leaves so bud sites can get more light? i have seen this discussed and i heard it was good to keep them because the plant would not produce them if it did not need them..but i just want to know first hand from ppl that have tried it..did it help? or no? or did it change anything at all??

this is probably the best guide to deficiencies that i have found... looks like your plant might have just been burned by the lights tho... any chance that your lights are too close ?
