So umm where is it in this forum you find real growers using halogen lights?

Halogen lights are NOT for growing, complete waste of power and they throw out way too much heat. You can get seeds to germ and some sprouts sure (seeds will germ in 100% darkness, done it)
halogen doesnt produce usable light for plants, it's clear/yellow, vegging plants need blue light mostly which is 5000-7000 range.

After reading the whole thread and all Griz don;t resort to name calling Bud, especially if you want me to roll in as backup.

I dont do name calling or incurage it, I wanted to make that clear, but ALSO it is BS to tell someone to ignore a grower that has experience under him.

Halogen lights blow for growing, toss it and opt for CFLs, HPS, or MH

Welcome to RIU everyone, this is a great place lets not bicker and make this a great place.:bigjoint:
Yeh i gotta agree with this guy aswell. Griz, im also still here to back u up whenever u need me man, but choose your battles. Not every thread has to be an epic toss-off for the soul of RIU, lol.

yeah yeah, sorry I spazzed everyone. Its just a forum and I went overboard, its meaningless in the grand scheme of things.

I learned something nifty while I was studying the chemical makeups of nitrogen and phosphorus with their relation to MJ.

Nitrogen helps all living things on the planet build new proteins, one of the chief uses of it. Humans get most of theirs through inhalation. The light spectrum provided by MH aids in MJ processing more nitrogen than under an HPS. More proteins means healthier stronger denser growth. Phosphorus is changed into chemical energy by the plant and uses a stronger red spectrum to do so. Chemical energy is chiefly used to build and saturate buds with the three letter acronym of happiness.
