Lithium OG Auto Nute Burn?

Hello,

I have been growing two lithium OG plants over the last few months. They are about week 7-8 of flower currently and have started showing signs of what I'm assuming is nutrient burn. The burn seems to be mostly around the bud sites.

I was wondering if I'm correct in assuming Nute Burn and what I could do at this stage to get it through this last stretch safely?

Lithium OG Auto
Week 7 flower
600W light 24 hours
16-20° C
50-60% humidity
Green Planet feed at quarter strength and pH between 5.8 -6.1

Any help would be appreciated. Please let me know if you need any other info. Thank you.

Looks like more of a lock out than nute burn IMO. However, you can see some slightly burnt tips. Are you growing in COCO with that PH ? What kind of light are you hitting it with and how close ? is that HPS or LED ? What's the PPM of your feeds and are you getting a good amount of runoff when you water ? Are you supplementing with any calcium or Magnesium ? I'm not plant dr. but answering some of those questions will help out some more qualified plant guru's out there.

(edit) was just lookin at that green planet nutrient.. Is that just a 1 part nutrient though out the grow ? Seems a lil wonky to me to think the plant needs the same NPK ratios though out it's life cycle @4-3-3.. But they do have a really hot girl selling their products in some of the vids !! She sold me on the GP root builder a few years ago.

(2nd edit) Ohh wait, it makes sense now. Looking at the feed chart it's actually 5 bottles of nutrient they want you to use for the 1 part nutrient line.. I get it now.....

I'm betting on lockout too probably caused by the pH being too high in your root zone. I'm pretty sure it's low Manganese, Mn but you can check out this chart and see what you think.

More info about your soil and water would help pinpoint the problem before your yields go all to shit.

Any screwups with new growth is due to immobile nutrients and the lack of those is most often caused by pH issues when using nutes with all those in them. Hard water is often the culprit.

Too much Ca can block Mn so look at the excess Ca on the chart. Can be from too much CalMag, too much lime in the soil mix or too much in tap water.

A different but similar one for comparison.

Good luck in fixing this.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I am growing in Coco, yes. I have done a big flush to try bring my soil pH down as the run off was testing 6.4 or similar. I flushed each plant for quite a while with 6.0 plain water, but only managed to get it down to about 6.3. I am unsure how to lower it further at this point. I currently am waiting until next feed then going to water with light nutes at a lower pH.

If there is anything else I should be doing please let me know! I've had a couple of previous grows all go without any problems so this is new to me.

Sorry I will elaborate;

Coco is the medium :D
600w LED light about 30cm above them at full blast
My meter does EC and is about 1.4k going in, and I water until I get a decent runoff happening
I use GP Dual Fuel with Pro Cal (Cal Mag) thrown in

Thanks for your reply!

Things look to be pretty on par with your inputs as far as I can tell. The duel fuel seems to be a little lacking on the Phosphorus during flower maybe. What's your water like ? I'm suspecting @OldMedUser is on the right path with hard water or too much cal/mag causing a lockout.

For what it's worth, I have hard water and chase around similar f'ing spots depending on the strain. I find the cal/mag can really fk things up worse if you don't balance it right. The good news is other than your plant being ugly, in my experience, it doesn't effect the yield or trichome production.

Good luck !
