Don't water it for 4 days.......see if it recovers.....you drowned the roots but its possible it recovers. I'd guess 3 solo cups worth of water is all that is needed for a plant that size. wait at least two days and give it UP to 3 solo cups (DEF not more)

Okay I haven’t watered it in 2 days I’ll give it another couple and see what happens but literally since I haven’t watered it it’s looking worse

Hopefully your RH is about 50%......if humidity drops too low the stomata of the leaf close up.

Not sure, Renfro. I added a 1/2 gallon of water as an experiment, these plants are 21 to 28 days old. Leaves drooped almost as much as the plant pictured. Went back to watering according to plant size.

bet they would’ve been fine 24hrs later. Mine always look sad as shit after a watering. Then bounce back hard as fuck.

That is a clear indication that your medium lacks adequate aeration. Over watering is simply a lack of oxygen at the roots.

If you wanna go auto watering it's best to stick with a medium like coco that has lots of air pockets and tolerates a lot more in the way of watering too often. That said you can over water coco, it's just more difficult to do. I had plants in 10 gallon pots, coco. One strain wasn't drinking as fast as the others but I kept hammering it at the same frequency as the others and that strain got root rot and was fucked. So you can over water coco.

Nah man. Airpots, super spongy medium and the water is bubbled.
Every plant I’ve grown droops after watering.

Mine don't. But then again I only water right when I begin to see my leaves droop And the top few inches of my soil is dry. And usually within 3 or 4 hours they perk back up.

Interesting. I find it hard to believe that your plants don’t move during watering.
In fact they drop 5 mins after the first litre or so.
But regardless I don’t thinking drooping for a few hours is a big deal.

Sometimes my plants droop after transplant, like touching the ground level of droop. . You know what straightens them out in less than 3 hours? A heavy watering..
OP, the bottom of a plastic pot will hold water indefinitely if the plant isn't using it. When switching soil mixes once, I was spraying the surface constantly thinking it was drying out (no mulch) but the medium was actually sending it to the bottom of the pot. Transplanted out of the wet soil and 60% recovered. If the roots smell like alphalfa spouts left in the windowsill too long they won't recover.
