My buddy swears he found the meaning of life on Dark Side
Time, Breathe, Money, Us vs Them etc...its all there he says. A good hit of acid, some headphones and a dark room is all thats required

Discovered Floyd when I was in 6th grade(1980), still addicted to dark side..
I remember the first time I listened with headphones, heard so much more than you could ever thru the radio..

Well that's an ugly way to talk about
That was me about 40 years ago!

If you fuck up turning the big black disc over to drag a rock through the Archimedean gutter of side B ... you are high enough.

Well that's an ugly way to talk about it.

I read about a guy trying to scan records with a flat bed scanner and play them back.

Dragging a rock through a gutter (which is a fairly accurate description of how a stylus operates in a groove) is ugly? Compared to some of the intrigue and nastiness that has been coursing through this site these past months? I think we have some different concepts of ugly.
In any case, I apologize for bringing down the buzz.

You could tell a lot about a person the way they handled your vinyl. o_O

Well said. Thank you.
I didn't need side B once the goal had been met and by that time, it was too far away.
