Liquid Culture for Mushroom Cultivation

i have decided I want to do what all of you are recommending and making a liquid culture.

all my basic experience with cultivating mushrooms is
the pf tek - successful
bulk substrates - in progress

I am not a noob to growing mushrooms but I AM a noob at liquid culture and the more advanced methods in mycology.

it seems my spores are very slow when i knock jars up to start a mycelium growth. i thought me switching to a liquid culture would help 10 fold.
and i know it will.

so
anyone who knows how to and/or has made a liquid culture successfully.
please. help me along here.

ill tell yah man the easiest mix ive used for my LC so far is just a half tsp of Karo and a half tsp of organic honey per regular mouth pint jar filled with water to the level the jar begins to bend inward if you get my meaning.

also i made my own lids using plastic regular mouth lids that a drilled a couple holes in, 1 large enough for the self healing injection tops of a test tube for blood samples, and the other a smaller hole that fits a syringe filter for gas exchange. if needed i can take a couple pics and post em up but the lids are exactly like those sold on themadseason that they premake and sell as LC lids. they last and last and are super easy to clean and very resistant to contamination, have yet to suffer a lost LC. every few months i draw a syringe of LC and clean out my jars and restart them to keep em fresh. only takes like 4 days to colonize from a LC syringe, maybe a week or 2 from spores.
