linear light mover - Advise please

I'm hoping to put a lightmover in over the next few days.

A) to cut out 1 light, as I still feel 4 lights in a 10' x 10' are is too many, and I am not utillising them to full potential.

B) To cut the cost of running 1 light.

C) To help those plants of different sizes. (The whole room is in flower)

D) To eliminate a darkish corner of the room.

Any advise will be appreciated - Am in week 5 coming into 6 of flowering white Rhino, UK Cheese, as well as 2 Blueberry.

In a 10x10 room you would probably have better results using 4x lights or 2 with 2 light rails but 1x 1000w can do the job, make sure to get the light air cooled to get it the closer you can to the canopy. Light movers are nice when you can't afford more lightning but of course more light will give more buds.

I think you could run 3 600's in a row on one mover and have great coverage of your 10 X 10 room. With the mover you can run your lights closer to the tops of your plants as the hot spots are moving and you will get better light penetration.

Sounds good, but you would need to have a commercial light mover to move that much weight/lights. They are pretty expensive. I found my regular light mover on ebay for 169.00.

But if you are just trying to get some light in dark corners, why dont you add some suplemental CFLS in the corners. Thats what i do because when my light is on the other side of the track it is kinda dark on the other side.

A light mover wont help you here. A light mover is put to its full potential with a even canopy like a SOG.

I have 4 600s on one mover in a 20 x 10 room I have four 4x6 tables with different stages of flowering that way I can adjust each light to a different height over each table. The ends may be dark at times but the plants on the ends seem to grow as well as the ones in the middle.

so im wondering if on that regular light mover you can have more than one light? whats the weight limit on the mover?
