I was pretty sure this would be lemon flavored since it is their Lemon Skunk. I guess it is just a variation in seed that makes it this way? I've had Lemon Skunk before and it is much different than this one. Lime happens to be my favorite flavor so it works out well!
Ya know I'm in the same boat. After smelling this lemon/lime I'm starting to wonder if all my other strains are worthy of this one. LOL I have #1 Blueberry, RP Sour D(which is very nice), Lavender, Bubblegum and Cali O. The Cali O smells much like any other Sativa it seems and doesn't smoke sweet. I don't think I lucked out with that one. The RP Sour D is very very pungent and sour tasting and it leaves a nice residual flavor on the back of your tongue. I haven't tried the Bubblegum, but it is the Serious version that I got. It's turning out to be very squat and bushy. Same age as the Sour D and it is only 1 foot tall compared to the 4 foot tall Sour D. I guess it's possible to get a seed off of an original strain and have it be better right? Never the same though, but that's ok with me!Ive been growing for a while, and I gotta say, out of all the different seed banks I have bought seeds from, I always find myself going back to DNA.
I loved their OG#18, I talk about it alot, haha...
When I first grew her out I wasnt sure if I got a lucky seed or if it was the stabalized version, but man was it good. I grew like 6 different strains at the time that I grew OG#18 and it was stronger and better than every other strain. It kinda sucked tho, as it made me not appreciate the other strains.
I went home to see my folks for Christmas and I wanted to catch a buzz after Christmas dinner to help me relax and digest. So I went to the very back of the house, cracked the window, loaded some OG#18, took 2 hits, blew the smoke through a toilet paper roll stuffed with a moist rag, that was pointed out the crack in the window...and sure as shit, 3 minutes after I came out of the bathroom and settled in the tv room, my mom walks in and asks who was smoking pot.
Now I got some Lemon OG#18, im soooooooo excited. I got 2 of them and they are both identical in height and structure.
I also got Kosher Kush, and Holy Grail Kush goin too. Its gonna be a good summer
The one common thread with all CO grows I've seen is that most of the smell/taste appears after a good cure.

It sure does. I took my 420 scope and magnified a leaf when it was vegging and sure as shit there were a whole ton of golden trichomes all over it half way through veg. Between the Sour D and this Lemon Skunk I am one happy little lad.
