Hey peeps.

Was wondering if any one can help I have 14 in a 4*4 scrog transplanted into 3 gals coco two weeks ago and are approx 2-3ft and ready ready for flower any time I am wondering if adding another light to the room will be more beneficial As I don’t think the corners are getting enough light using a standard euro barn shade 600w bulb hps (previous cool tube w/wings became faulty) I was thinking of fitting another euro barn shade and setting them to 400 w each giving me an extra 200w as I feel 1200 would be too high and would need to up size in intake and outtake.. I have another room with 6 scrog under a 600 w hps adjust a wing..conditions are great maybe a bit cold at night due to time of year other than that A OK.. any advice would be amazing oh and using ionic nutrients

HOnestly I wouldn't hesitate to run 2 600s even without dimming them if your temps can handle it. I've got 1k over a 4x4 and I wouldn't mind haveing 2 600s for better corner covreage. I would have them air cooled and as close to the canopy as possible while still covering your space.

But two 600s for me always leads onto the question of a 2.4m tent. It would be more efficient.
Your outake looks low, i would have this up high and a pedestal fan blowing across my canopy towards the outake.
I would usually have an intake blowing into the canopy.

Yes the fan is below the canopy and a larger 16 inch oscillating fan will be hanging upside down for canopy and once the second light is fitted I will place the fan/filter directly above the two lights to allow maximum heat extraction two intake one a 4 inch and one just a 5inch duct through one of the duct outlets and using a 5inch rhino extractor kit temps 26c so maybe stick with the 2 400s and install a 5inch intake for the four inch..

Here's an interesting study about light intensity. It's comparing HPS and LED but the point is, up to a surprising point yield is directly proportional to yield.

Nice sounds good, youll find small things like positioning the fans right make a big difference, also the position of the intake. Depends on what your outake is like but i like to have my intake sitting by the window, usually cool enough and then having the outake blowing out of the room someway will make a huge difference.
Best of luck bud, just throwing this out there but i love rdwc, after seeing the results would not go back to coco. IMO this can increase yeild just as much as adding another light.

I didn’t hesitate the 14 are coming on nicely under the two and the adjusawing room is on par but prior to them getting to the way they are I had to remove the silicone and growth boosters as they where suffering from deficiencies and looking very sad so just calmag and grow after two feeds praying to the gods now my next question they are day 7 flower in pics was wondering was how long calmag is required with coco I’ve heard two weeks only and as far 4weeks cheers for any advice
