Hi I am new to this so I'm not sure how far the light should be from the plants can anyone help .......my plants are roughly five weeks old and about 3 to 4 inches in height.

I would go about two feet for now...
You can eventually get closer..
If you put your hand at plant-level with palm facing down and your hand gets hot, it is too close..
Just put an oscillating fan in there, too, ASAP.

Thanks... One more thing my temp is at 79d and humidity is 38: I have a bowl of water in there and a humidifier but the temp and humidity will not level out..... Is that ok or a bad thing...

How often should I water them with fresh water.. Am already giving them canna A&B and boost. The food i'v been told to give them 200ml every 2 days is that right or is this wrong info again...chris

Idunno... You should follow the instructions from Canna... They should say feed-feed-water or water you need to do.. I am not familiar with those

Hey chris,
Just a quick tip when your watering go to orchard supply/home depot and buy a Ph kit. Also let your water sit out for about 24-36 hrs before watering them to let some chemicals in the H2O evaporate. You will be happy with the results from testing Ph for sure. Also about the light I would start a bit higher than 2 ft b/c they are only 3 inches tall. Let them get used to the light and lower it very slowly over time like tommyo said.
