Lights ?

Can anyone tell me the cheapest light I can use for flowering I got 20 bucks to spend and I wanted to get a new light for flowering I got 2 15 watt cfls on it now and its doing really good thanks for the info

shaggy, i really hope you can find more $$ to help your hobby but what you are going to want to get is 23W 2700K lights.....working with a small budget thats the best you are going to get....

Need to save up some more cash brother.
Maybe you can find something at a garage sale but you are not gonna get anything new for that money.

Make sure you get the 2700k for flower.

thats about as best as I can do right now I dont have space for any real good setup. All I can really use is normal lights I gotta be able to move it fast and its got to be hidden so I dont get kicked out so anything will have to do right now I might get a bunch of cfls and make a hanging light rack that will be about 70 to 100 watts but thats my parents buying me lights and shit and thats who I gotta keep it away from

go to home depot. you can get a 4 pack of cfl lights that you need for like 15 bucks

For an easy light fixture just get three Y-shaped light splitters and screw them together. You can run 4 bulbs off one socket then.

I've acctually had really good results with 2700k CFL! 4 pack at lowes or allike were like 8-10$.

I just put two cfl bulbs in that are 6500k each would that be good for flowering also

6500K is best for vegging, around 3000k is best for flowering. You can get by with just one or the other, but you won't have optimum results. Luckily they are cheap so you can switch back and forth at the proper times.

yea I don't think more than 30% of the 6500k would be good for flowering. You'll have buds and all, but they will not be as dense and potent, I don't think. But why not give it a shot? ya never know till you try? but you should try to get at least 1 2700k for the top cola if you can. If not, don't sweat it man. grow another. Thats the beauty of growning indoors, it only takes a few weeks

I think I might leave the two 6500 bulbs on right now I also have two 5500k but I dont know would that be better? I found a good light im gonna try to save up for its a 100 watt mini hps its tight and I got an extra fridge that doesnt work so im gonna cusomize it for a grow box sounds like a good idea but im gonna have to put a lock on it so noone but me can see the truth of the fridge!

Well they know I do all this shit so im not gonna loose any trust im very open with my parents about this shit they just dont want to see it and my shit is well hidden so they dont. But if they ever do come up to snoop its as easy as unplug for me.

They will get pissed but im not sure I was really accurate when I said id get kicked out
