hey everyone new grower. i have a 8x8 grow room and i had baught two 1500w leds that were a horrible idea for this room. light and money wise. some one on here once suggested i use a hps light for that size room. does anyone have any ideas on this? for some reason the light aspect is so confusing for me

why are you starting with such a large space. wouldn't it be better to set up a sngle 1000watt HPS/MH grow light in a corner of that tent and grow a couple of plants under that light until you get things figured out

First, you should start your own thread. This one is to help out Anonymous2020.
That said, you room is like having 4 4x4 tents. So 4 of any solution, LED, HPS, or CMH that would be good in a 4x4 tent would work for you. And to save you some heartache, the LEDs you want will be in the 600-630w range. That crap on Amazon and ebay that offer 1000, 1200, or 1500w are junk.

wel that is what im trying to figure out in the long run i guess. im a heavy smoker, and want to make sure that during the winter i can keep things going nonstop. the two leds i have are absolute shit. so i was wondering if hps would be more efficient and less costly?

most commercial growers use them but whatever you use you will have heat issues
