Lights Question!

Anyone know the Max amount of light a cannabis plant can use!
I am currently using around 60w per sq ft.
But... Im wondering what the most I could use to be of benefit?

I've never heard of too much light, I've only heard the more the better.
I don't think you could equal what the sun puts out.

not sure I kind of wonder the same thing. my plant seems to be doing well but Im always wondering, damn should I have more light??

i do recall one number mentioned from some old time growers, think it was Growing With Kyle
10,000 lumens per square foot is pretty much the maximum you could need
not all strains need the same light intensity, the tropical sativas are the ones that want more and more
nothing wrong with 60w, but that depends on the source, a 600w hps is a lot more efficient than 25w cfl's

that's the recommended setup, lot of growers use it
usually, it's the heat that limits you, more watts, more heat
