I finally got a new lighting setup as appose to one big floodlight that i stole from my porch so here it is tell me if im doing alright plz im a first time grower and doin the best with what i have.
the little one on the left just got killed today sad i know but i had my girlfriend grab it so i could transplant it into something bigger and it broke
so now all i have is the older one. so hopefully it does good
any suggestions or tips on making it big and strong with just stuff layin around the house? cuz thats what i've been using
Well for now, I would put the two CFL lights on her and remove the rest. I have a thing, I don't use light I don't feel is approved. What wattage are those CFLs? I have 1 42W CFL over 6 clones doing fine, and I just got another refletor today, so a home depot trip for another is in the making. What kind of soil are you using? I am just starting out in soil now myself, and so I will have to learn the ropes. I have 3 flowering plants as well, in hydro.
yeah i took the red bulb out and the one that doesnt look like a cfl on the left front really is theres just a case around it that kinda directs the beam. and i replaced the red bulb with another 23 watt cfl and the small one in the back corner is a 19 watt. the soil im using is just some run of the mill potting soil...no chemicals added i think
i just found it in my shed and dug to the bottom of the bag where the soil was darker and had less bark and the only thing i need to do now is get some reflectors i guess. I just topped her to so i'll let u know how that goes. but other than that i suppose its just steady as she goes on this one
get those lights much closer, you are stretching pretty bad already, you can have those lights 1-2 in. away as long as you are not having heat problems.
just moved it up a bit
the one that was really strectched died due to breakage so i learned my lesson. But the bigger one she's doin great
i just clipped the newest growth so it would split into two stalks maybe get a bit more bushy but im just being opptomistic at this point. its gonna take a while but she's growin strong
the little one is outta the picture now. it died so now all i have is the big one. she broke soil easter weekend...i know she's growin slow but i didnt have the right lights or anything for the first month and my setup was really ghetto. but now i have a little better setup and she's doin alright. she's 37 days old....i just counted
I have one plant left....in soil not hydro. i do know a little about light i just dont have the proper resources and there is a fan out of view just givin her a little breeze
its all good
sooo after you top your plants does it usually take a little while for the normal growth to start back up cuz before i topped it she was growing pretty steadily and i topped about 3 days ago and theres no new growth yet
