Lightning question

Hey, I'm new to growing, and I've got a question.
Can't I just put my seeds in a 10 gallon tank beneath the 600W HPS lamp from the beginning instead of putting it in small containers, beneath a low MH lamp?
Because I see everyone having their appart vegetating growroom for the early weeks of the plant and than their flowering room for the last part.
Like, what will it really change about the plant?

you usinga duel spec hps then the yes. i put mine under my 600w hps duel spec at 11 days till harvest

have your lamp far away for early germ and then after its got a node or 2 then move your lights to normal distance. but yes you can plant a bean in its final home without transplanting later.
