Lighting times?

Hi all I have been recommended different lighting times so I am not sure how many hours of light and dark to give it. My plant is 2.5 CM and I do not know the strain it was a bagseed. But now it is looking healthy. I heard I can change the lighting times to speed up the grow. Im now using a 26 watt CFL and a 90mm PC fan to keep the temp
around 78-81 degrees.

What lighting times should I use and how can I keep the plant short?

Use 18/6 to save 25% on your power bill and use LST supercropping to keep them small.

Good luck!

I am going to use low stress training to keep the plant short i only have 2.5 feet of growing height, so now Ill use 18/6. When is the earliest time I can start flowering the plant? (12/12 yes?) Does it have to be a certain size or length to flower the plant to produce buds?

3 more CFL lights when its only 2.5cm? Should they all be 26 watt CFLs or higher?
Haha no. You're good til about 15 cm. Then you'll want 2x26W. As the height doubles, continue to double the wattage(for optimal growth). Plants can sustain on far less. Like I've seen 3 plants grown under 78 watts total, yielded a little over 2 oz dry.

Using CFLs should keep it tight and bushy, you can also train it, and top it.

Yea the guy above suggesting adding 3 more lights.. but its too young. Thanks for all the replies, would it be different for me since I will use LST? It will mature and grow bigger but not much more height. How do I know to add more CFL lights when im using LST? Do I go by how many sets of leaves of i have?

Cheers :joint::hump:

50-100 CFL watts per cubic foot for flowering. Half it for veg.
