I was set up with a 1000 watt lighting system for my closet, which I was told would be ideal for my space. My closet space is 4x6. Last night we got her up and running and to be honest, it feels way to hot for this space. Is this true in what I was told? Or should I be useing a smaller wattage light bulb? Can I put a 600watt in a 1000watt system?

Who told you a 1000watt would be perfect for a closet grow??I suggest you stop listening to this person if you ever want a finished successful grow. Try going with a 600watter. And even then your still gonna need a good fan to be moving that heat around.
