Lighting Switch??

I plan to vegetate my Island Sweet Skunk for 2 months indoor in DWC.
When i want to flower my plant, can i switch straight to 12/12 lighting from 24/0?
or should i ease into it??

I wouldn't veg that long if you're going 24/0 lighting, what kind of lights are you using?

Sometimes ill leave my girls in the dark for 24 hours then kick in 12-12. I really cant say if it does any different then other methods.
