Lighting Question

To all my fellow stoners...greetings i have a quick question is a HPS or MH light needed to flower indoors or is it other ways bcuz ive been lookin up lights and the prices are killin me but if theres a another way plz share

a HPS is the better light to use for flowering but you can use MH or CFLs or FL tubes or LEDs too. youll want blueish(6400k, cool, daylight) lights for vegging plants with and reddish(2700k, warm, soft) lights for flowering with. HPS are reddish lights as are normal incandescent bulbs(not good to grow with tho), flouros and MH are usually blueish but come in either.
how many plants/how much bud and where are you wanting to grow?

well paddy i only wanted to grow 3-7 plants nothing major but what would be the best "light bill" friendly way...

what size room/box are you planning on using?

what is the ambient temp like in the grow area?

what budget do you have for the lights?

how are you planning on growing the 3-7 plants? sog, scrog, f&d, dwc etc?

how big do you want the plants/ how much bud are you looking to get? taller plants yield more but need more powerful lights. shorter plants yield less but need less powerful lights.

2 answer ur question the tempature would be about 70 to 75 degrees about 85 and a hot day

my budget on lights is 100 bucks 4 rite now just until i get everything
situated

i was thinking sea of green because of the area im using...that way lots of small plants in a small area
