this might be a real stupid question
was just wondering if you can use sunbed lamps or even a sunbed lol
would it be good for growing or flowering or would it just burn them.

sunbed lamps are meant to emit UV light. I'm not sure about what its other color spectrums would be and if they are good for a plan.

Some people have speculated that UVB rays/light increase the potency of a plant. Metal Halide lamps put out the most UVB but only a little more then HPS. For more info see:

i would think its missing a few color spectrums but if you can buy a tanning bed go buy a 1000w hps systemn for 400$
