lighting question??

Hey everyone,, ive been vegging my babes for about a month under 4 fluoro's 54w HO, then i got a 400W HPS for flower, now ive started a couple new babes under the fluoros, my question is : can i put my seedlings under my HPS for 12h while the older ones are flowering, then back under fluoros when the HPS turns off for 12h, or will this just make the seedlings flower or sex or wtv?
