Lighting question... when do I have to change the amount of light time.

Ok, so I've been leaving my lights on for about 12 hours every night, and so far my plant seems to be growing. I'd say it's about 2 inches tall, and I think I started growing it about a week ago, though I'm not sure. Tbh, I didn't think it would grow so I didnt pay much attention to the times I left it on. Sometimes I turned the lights on at 7.30pm other times 2am.


Basically my questiosn are these:

at what point in the flowers growth should I change the amount of time under the light?

and how much time shoudl I leave the light on?

and how far away should the tip of the plant be from the light? (I have a pretty standard fair UV light, no fancy growing equiptment).

i think u just change it to 12/12. (12hrs light 12hrs dark). Also type into google "the cannabis grow bible" and download it.

I keep mine under a 18/6 untill im ready to make them flower...a good time would be when its about 3ft tall. at that time switch to the 12/12 lighting. and get a couple grow lights from walmart there like 10 bucks a piece and all you do is plug em in. a 24 hour timer is a good investment there cheap to.
