lighting question for flowering.....

My first question is that I have 2 150 watt hps lights. Would that be enough to grow 4 plants. Maybe 6. Im planning on keeping em low. Veg 2-3 weeks then induce flower. I plan on using cfls for veg.

The strains would be: 1x blue widow, 1x Moby dick, 1x BlackBerry and 1x power skunk. 2 Of each of the last ones if lighting situation allows it. Was told to try scrog but don't want got make things too difficult. Would that be? All the help I can get would be greatly appreciated.

My other question was does anyone have any suggestions on how to position the lighting fixtures??

2 x 150 hps ballasts
4-6 CFL fixtures.

IMO you could do 6. I'd say go 12/12 from seed though if you do 6. Use the CFLs when you flower as well. Switch to 2700K 23W bulbs if you can. At least a few.

you'll be fine... i would keep the hps's and the cfl's both on during veg and bloom though.. just a better spectrum and more lumen output. 6 plants, ya you can grow that many, not with optimum results. but they'll do fine:) keep the cfl's like 2 inches away from your plants and the hps keep like 12 inches to 18

12/12? Ive never heard of people doing that. What's the benefit??

@bluewidow....what to do for optimum results? Should I invest in another cheap hps system?

Read up on that 12/12. Sounds good. I think I'll do the skunk and BlackBerry like that. I want to veg out my blue widow and Moby dick. Make some moms out of em. Woot! Start a mini scale perpetual. Exciting... Any more suggestions would be more than welcomed.
