Is it bad to run a 600w hps hortalux eye at 50% on a digital ballast

hortilux are great bulbs, the only ones i ever ran, until i got my digital ballasts. they do not work good with digital, and your life expectancy is greatly dimminished.

Certainly not it is the best way not to have plant's (Young) cower from the overkill!! good for you more light isn't allway's best....if you are cloning, growing seedling's or working on sick plant less light is better..certainly what the ballast was designed for!!jack..when I move clone's into flower room I turn my 1000watter down to 25% for a few day's, until plant harden's off under light! then pump in vege and flower....View attachment 2226308
