Your gonna need more than bulbs to keep it going indoors.

I'd assume you'd wanna do it cheap, some 2700k CFLs would work

Generally you'd want to take clones off a plant during veg so it has time to replenish what you took off. However you could do it off your plant. Probably slow grow, and reduce yields.

HPS bulbs are most expensive, but are considered better. For one plant however CFL's would work fine

No. Once its cloned, it will take probably 2 weeks to get into veg stage, another month there, and then 6-8 weeks for flowering

you can clone it still, theres no point in not trying...and for one plant you should go cheap and throw a bunch of cfls up like desertflower said, than invest in an hps or two and start growing a bunch of plants! after you finish this purp bitch

This suggestion is misleading. HPS bulbs need a ballast. You can't just go out and get an HPS bulb and PRESTO! Let there be light!
WOWWWWWW....i dont need fucking correcting for something i left out..nothing was misleading..suggesting an hps its pretty common knowledge you need the ballast...doesnt need to be said,

This thread is in Newbie Central. Common knowledge to you is not always common knowledge to everyone here.

They're here to learn. Having someone tell them to just go out and get an HPS bulb is misleading.

If you are going to go the CFL route you will need 6500k daylight bulbs for veg stage and 2700k for flowering. You should grab a clamp lamp from lowes and a Y splitter so you can have 2 lights on it. Because its just one plant I would def go with the CFL route.
