lighting in pc grow box

hey all i orderd 300watt cfl dual spectrum bulb and recived it threw the post the light bulb is huge lol am just thinking will it not get to hot in my pc grow box will the plants not burn or anything set on fire or anything didnt know the 300watt bulb was that big lol
or will it be just perfect

thats what the intake and outtake fans are for.

I use a 250w cfl for my grow box witch is pretty high, i honestly dont reakon they should be in a pc grow box unless its unbeliabley huge And apprantly duel spectrum arnt as good, but not tested that..

thanks lads for the help unfortunatly the bulbs arrived smashed so i gota send them back

that sucks, i'd see if they wont send ya a free goodie for the hassle.....its worth a shot, worst they can do is say no.

am having problems fitting the 300 watt cfl bulb in pc case am gna send it back and just ask for a 125 watt one that amount of light should be enuf for a pc case along with maylar evrywere inside ?

for veg yeah. but i'd get a few 42w 2700k to hang on the sides of the plant for flower at least.

the only problem is am from uk and i can only get dual spectrum lights if i get a dual spectrum 125watt light will it do the trik buddy

it being dual spectrum is a good thing actually. that means you dont gotta switch bulbs between veg and flower and mixed spectrum is good. so u mean just 1 or 2(one for 0n top and one for side lighting?) i strongly reccomend you get 2 125w if ya cant get 2 42w or 2 65w and 1 125w bulbs

yeah no worries buddy al get 2 125watts i think al just stik both bulbs on the top lol
