lighting help!!!!

hello all,
i have a wee plant that is about 1 month old, it was growing outside but i decided i wanted to try the inside thing .... i have one flor 15 watt 6500k and 2 20 watt (have no idea what the lumens are) would this be sufficent?

do you have enough cash to purchase a hps light. 100-300 bucks. Wide price range but it depends on where you look. can you post a pic

yeah i will post a pic up as soon as i get my camera tonight .... from an honest perspective could they be grown this way

you said you only have one plant. I would say get a 250 watt hps or even a 400 watt one. They are really bright but will give you what you need for what your doing. or get some t5 lighting if circulation will be an issue

on the other hand i have a 175w light from a car dealership with a built in ballest.... but it says that it has mercury in it .... what about that on .... it's one of the ones that light up the outside parking lot

it is huge and gives off hella heat ..... this is my first grow so bare with me .... i do have some fans i can put around the area

i say go with it cause heat isnt a big deal. get a fan to deal with that problem If you already have the light just get a couple fans. Check out my grow. i keep my 400 watt Hps 8 inches away by using a few fans. Cfl will take more time to setup with no where near the results as a balast light

wow wow wow dude/dudet you realy need to up the lights man I am running 120w CFL and my girls doubled in size in 1 month I would perfer a mix of Cool and Warm White CFL
Is that a 120W equivalent, or actually a 120W CFL? I ask because I've never seen an actual 120W CFL before. Can you post a link?

I have 120w of CFL but I want to get more lights for them and you want them to have light on all the sides


107w **** I jsut remembered that I moves a couple of lights to my veg area (right now its both bud and veg area) but I wanted to have them spred out for max light

its just a bunch of CFLs that equal up to 107w sorry I thought that I had more lights but I'm going to be investing into more lights
