Lighting Fixture

I picked up this 3 bulb lighting fixture from walmart. Brand is Hampton. Now on the front it says it uses "(3) 13 Watt A-line CFL Bulbs or (3) 60 Watt Incandescent bulbs". Now what i want to do is use this is a small veg box im building, but i want to use some Y splitters and use 6 23 watt cfl bulbs on it. It doesnt have the max wattage anywhere on the box. Now im wondering is the maximum wattage 180 watts (because 60 X 3 =180). Or is it higher cause ive never seen a bathroom fixture that low. Im thinking the 3 -13 watt light is just a marketing thing for people who dont understand wattage. What u guys think?

by the incandescent numbers it's a total of 180w, the cfl's mentioned are the 60 watt incandescent equivalents

I understand that. But, im asking, will it not draw the same amount of power (wattage). I know the 13 watt CFLs are the equivalent brightness of a 60 watt incandescent. Im just asking is it safe to put about 50 watts of CFLs in each hole.

you probably won't be able to find an exact answer to that, if the fixture instructions said otherwise you'd wouldn't have needed this thread
the 'answer' is probably 180 watts of cfl is safe, though 42w cfl's are the largest i've seen that go into a standard socket
key word is probably, 60 watts though a socket is a modest draw, but you can't be too safe
