I am looking at growing a mother in a closet space with very limited ventilation space. I was going to go with a single hid system and switch bulbs via converter during the flowering process.
What im wondernig is...
a) can i combine an overhead CFL with 2 LED side panels.
a.1)without harming the plant using 2 light systems
Will it do any good? the idea im thinking is to produce a majority of 2' 2bulb CFl 10,000 lumens from the top, and after my first 10 inches of growth, add the side panels(LED mixed spectrum spotlights)to bush out the plant and help it grow horizontally AND still remain growing vertically towards the Fluoro's. also ad an extra amount of blue and red under light to the growth and help light the bottom portion of the plant.
Will it do anything other than waste money and look cool?
I need to keep my place fairly consistant in heat, an HID system would cost me more to set up nd buy ventilations and extra fanning.
