Ok so my over head light strip ( has 3 regular incandescent bulbs in it) got left on last night. The lights are on a dimmer and it was on low but they got enough light for me to be worried about hermied. 2 are at the start of week 4 and two are at the start of week 2. I turned off the light and they are getting 24 hrs of dark as we speak. They buds are getting pretty big on my two older girls and I sure hope this isn't gonna fuck my yield or totally screw me. I had to chuck my last 3 plants they hermied due to high heat! So I haven't had any of my own smoke for a while! Do you think they will be ok?

I was gonna just turn on the hid light and let them go back to normal cycle but I read it's the 12 hrs of dark that they need to keep them keeping on! So I closed it up tight! Hope I don't find any hermies!

Should be fine np, just try not to stress it much the coming weeks. Yeah if they were in vegg you would go back to a day cycle, being flower give it it's night cycle, just it's regular 12, don't make up for lost darkness will just confuse/stress it more. Maybe even just a weak seaweed solution and lay light on the neuts this week. But that's my opinion

I have to have lights on during the day! Only way I can get them back on schedule is to keep the lights off till 8 am tomorrow. Will 24 hrs of dark screw them up that much. I not trying to make up for lost dark time just trying to keep it on track!

You didn't have any hermies or diminished yeild?
It didnt change a thing. Somewhere along the line someone has introduced this nonsense that cannabis is a frail plant that you must not look at let alone breath on else it will hermie. It's nonsense. If you have good genetics, then cannabis can take a hell of a beating without a worry.

Hmm u may want a seasoned growers advice but to me the fact it was on 12/12, then left on day for 24 hours, now ur going 24 hours dark, then back to 12/12? I dunno how quick the plants register all these changes in its environment. Get back on track? why not just change ur timer, unless it's for stealth/privacy reasons ur stuck but to just do it so you don't change your set timers to me is well...that's not why right?

just do your normal schedule. no reason to panic. i've had a timer short and lights were on for 72 hours. get it to normal, the one day slip won't kill em. it takes several days to a few weeks for light to stress to herm, weeks to over a month for reveg.

just get it on schedule, the low intensity incandescents will not have affect them much.

dont change timer the plant has been on a scheduale for 4 weeks dont change it because of a mistake keep on truckin you should be fine.examplle if you were working a day time 9-5 scheduale and you missed a day of work why would it be easier for you to switch to grave yard shift because of one day.

The lights are already off if I turn them back on won't this stress them more? They have only be off for a few hrs.
