3 lights... might have slight delay between on and off times, is this a big problem??

Well ive just a adjusted timer on one but its still hard to get it down to the second and markings are split into hour n half hour sections so probably still a minute or two out. But what about when i switch to flowering will it be more important then to have it go 12/12 at same time will the principle be the same?it's actually better they come on slightly different so there isn't a huge inrush current powering them up.
