light transition question please?

Thanks for lookiing in---Been going since oct 1st from seeds at 16/8----not bad growth but has really taken off with the intro of C02. Anyways ready to flower I think 90 day vegging with 50 day flowering.... Question?????
Any light transition needed to avoid any unwanted results? Or may I go 12/12 with a blackout of 24 hours before starting it or skip the black out and adjust the timer?

My height on the girls are 28" mostly 2 spears as I have been slipping clones off and letting them go nest to her and now will be going in her spot as she goes to the flower shelf above the others.

B.T.W I have a Home deepthroat cab I got that is white melamine and particle board for about 85 bucks and has the double doors on it. Running 6 5500 CFLs
1 2700 Seems to be doing the trick for about the size of 18x31 inside. Room for one or two big mama's and a half a dozen clones around her. Just built the starters with brick next to mama's so they do not have to reach.
The node spacing is about 1.5 inch apart. I got a clone from the dispense with first purchase----She's is rocking

NYC Diesel, Blue Dream and all the other names of the dozen samples I tried. One of the 5 finalist of preferred choice gives me a seed! Cool Beans. C'mon Female...

no need to go 24 hr dark,it takes two weeks for the plants to fully transition to the photoperiod,so it's not needed.24 to 72 dark right before harvest has bben known to show increased yields,however.

i stopped reading your post almost immediately. you have been vegging for "90" day's?? dude, when the stretch comes, you're gonna be hurting. i'd top a good foot of of those babies right now!...

Wouldnt that depend on how much room he has?I veg for 60 days,and totally hear you,the stretch is amazing,but unless your flowering Sativas,it shouldm't be a problem.Good question,tho

well yeah, but i think he said (i read most of it, i skim) he was in a cab. 2 feet is kinda pushin it, maybe... if he's in a cab then he'll have heat issues and won't be able to use a large watter. so a 400 (maybe a 600) isn't going to be able to penetrate too far into the canopy. i think someone mentioned a scrog. might be the way to go.

well you guys thanks for the input---your slang is confusing (stretch?) Skrog? are these gonna get taller? or plumper? I never paid attention as the first time was last year outside by a tree--- see signature pic

The cabinet is 8foot split in half so 4 foot yet adjustable with veg on bottom and flower on top the biggest goes into the flower first so the shelf is adjusted accordingly for flower (also using chicken wire to hold the plant from going too far up makes it bush) as far as the clones below they are about 12 inch with pot inc. and should get to about 23" +8 for the pot. so 30 to 32 inch used total (using bricks to heighten the clones and remove as she grows---) leaves about 5 foot total for flower and 2+ feet for veg---makes sense to me if you are really interested I can post a pic after I go in next week to change the flower to 12/12 and clone before I do ( put her in flower mode) the stuff below is pretty small and could use it's own pot and 16/8 for another 50 days or so to get BURLEY.

As far as lights guilty on that I have 700 watts total of cfl for one dual speared 27" girl 6 are 2700 and center is 5500K for flower room to start soon as of now 6 5500's with a 2400 in the middle all 100 watt equiv--
23 watt consumption x 7= 160 watts there abouts runnin kinda hot. 90 at the hotttest.
Gonna get hotter with Flower room on so??? maybe a circle saw hole in it and a duct to reflect?
